Overview

Tryno uses Stripe Connect to process payments for communities, courses, challenges, and events. When a member pays for something in your community, the money goes directly to your connected Stripe account (minus Tryno Pay® and Stripe processing fees).

Connecting your Stripe account

Go to Settings

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Payments.

Click Connect Stripe

You will be redirected to Stripe to create or connect your account.

Complete onboarding

Fill in the information Stripe requires (personal details, bank account, etc.).

Done

Once approved, you can start accepting payments immediately.

Tryno Pay®

Tryno Pay® is the native checkout system that unifies Stripe and Mercado Pago into a single experience:
  • Checkout page optimized for conversion
  • Discount coupons with usage limits and expiry dates
  • Subscription management (create, pause, cancel)
  • Sales dashboard with real-time metrics
  • Automatic access provisioning after payment
Tryno Pay® transaction fees: 5% (Free plan), 3% (Pro), 1% (Business). Stripe processing fees are charged separately.

Webhooks

Tryno automatically processes Stripe webhooks to:
  • Confirm successful payments
  • Activate new subscriptions
  • Process refunds
  • Handle failed payments and dunning
Never share your Stripe secret key. Tryno stores it securely with encryption. If you suspect your key has been compromised, rotate it in your Stripe dashboard and reconnect.
