A walkthrough of the Tryno dashboard, navigation, and key features.

Sign in to Tryno

Go to tryno.io and log in to your account.

Explore the dashboard

The dashboard shows your communities, recent activity, and quick actions.

Open a community

Click on a community to access its admin panel with feed, members, chat, courses, and settings.

Click Create Community

From the dashboard, start the setup wizard.

Set name and handle

Choose a display name and unique handle.

Upload branding

Add your logo, banner, and brand colors.

Enable modules

Turn on Feed, Chat, Events, Challenges, Courses, etc.

Invite members

Share your link or send email invitations.

Navigate to the Feed tab

Open your community and go to the Feed section.

Create your first post

Click the compose button and add text, images, or video.

Pin important posts

Click the pin icon on posts you want to keep at the top.

Set moderation rules

Configure auto-moderation in Settings > Moderation.

Go to Chat settings

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Chat.

Create a channel

Choose public, private, tier-based, or announcement type.

Set permissions

Define who can read and write in each channel.

Open the Vault

Navigate to the Courses section in your admin panel.

Create a course

Add a title, description, and thumbnail.

Add modules and lessons

Organize content into modules with video lessons.

Set pricing (optional)

Configure a price if you want to monetize the course.

Make the course available to your members.

Open the Challenges section in your admin panel.

Choose daily, free-form, or cohort-based type.

Define tasks

Add check-in prompts and daily tasks.

Set rewards

Configure XP, badges, or prizes for completion.

Set the title, date, time, format (online/in-person/hybrid).

Go to Moderation settings

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Moderation.

Create rules

Add keyword, regex, or AI-based rules.

Set actions and severity

Choose what happens when a rule matches.

Review the queue

Check the moderation queue for flagged content.

Go to Domain settings

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Domain.

Enter your domain

Type your subdomain (e.g., community.yoursite.com).

Configure DNS

Add the CNAME record at your domain registrar.

Verify and activate

Click Verify in Tryno to complete setup.

Open Members

Navigate to the Members section in your admin panel.

View member profiles

Click on a member to see their activity, XP, trust score, and role.

Manage roles

Assign Owner, Admin, Moderator, or Member roles.

Mute or ban members if needed.
