The Vault is Tryno’s built-in course system. You can create structured educational content with video lessons, supplementary materials, and automatic progress tracking — all without leaving your community.

Creating a course

1

Open the Vault

Go to Admin > Vault > Create Course in your community dashboard.
2

Define the course

Set a title, description, thumbnail, and category for your course.
3

Organize the structure

Create modules and add lessons to each module.
4

Upload videos

Upload your video content. Videos are automatically processed and streamed via Mux for optimal playback.
5

Configure access

Choose how members access the course: free, paid via Tryno Pay, or restricted by membership tier.

Course structure

Courses follow a hierarchical structure that keeps content organized:
Course
  Module 1
    Lesson 1 (video + description)
    Lesson 2
    Quiz (optional)
  Module 2
    Lesson 3
    Supplementary material
  Completion certificate
Keep your modules focused on a single topic or theme. Shorter modules with 3-5 lessons tend to have higher completion rates than longer ones.

Progress and completion

Tryno automatically tracks each member’s progress as they work through your course:
  • Progress is tracked per lesson watched
  • A visual progress bar is displayed at both the course and module level
  • A completion certificate is generated automatically when a member finishes 100% of the course
Members can pick up right where they left off — their progress is saved automatically across devices.

Drip content

Release content gradually instead of all at once with drip scheduling. You can configure content to unlock:
Set an exact date when a module or lesson becomes available. Useful for coordinated launches or seasonal content.
Content unlocks a set number of days after the member enrolls. Great for self-paced programs with built-in pacing.
Members must finish the current module before the next one unlocks. Ensures sequential learning.
Drip content helps prevent information overload and keeps members coming back to your community on a regular schedule.

Monetization

You can sell courses individually through Tryno Pay or include them as part of a paid community membership. This gives you flexibility to offer standalone products or bundle them into your membership tiers.

Challenges

Pair courses with challenges for guided learning paths.
