Creating an event

Navigate to events

Go to Admin > Events > Create in your community dashboard.

Set the details

Enter a title, date, time, and duration for your event.

Add a description and cover image

Write a compelling description and upload a cover image that will appear on the event page.

Configure pricing

Choose whether the event is free or paid. For paid events, set ticket prices via Tryno Pay.

Set capacity (optional)

Define a maximum number of participants if the event has limited spots.
Add a detailed agenda to your event description so members know exactly what to expect before signing up.

Tickets and payment

Sell tickets through Tryno Pay with the following options:

QR Code check-in

On the day of your event, attendees check in by scanning the QR code on their ticket. As an organizer, you can verify attendance in real time from your dashboard.
QR check-in works for both online and in-person events. For online events, attendees scan the code before accessing the stream link.

Recurrence

Set up recurring events (weekly, monthly) with automatic registration. Once configured, new event instances are created automatically on your chosen schedule, and members who opted in are registered for each occurrence.
Recurring events are ideal for weekly office hours, monthly Q&A sessions, or regular community meetups.
